VOICE FOR THE WRONGFULLY CONVICTED

How we support the wrongfully convicted

Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to support, empower, and provide high quality resources to our community in a safe and secure environment. Our success isn’t measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the value we provide to those we serve.

At Not Forgotten we are dedicated to assisting the wrongfully convicted individuals incarcerated and those who have been released back into their communities. We support and sympathize with anyone who’s been wrongfully convicted and their loved ones as well.

We are a team of six individuals that are highly motivated and we are driven by passion. It is our priority to stand beside the wrongfully convicted individuals and their families. We will do our utmost to see that they succeed.

A wrongful conviction is one of the biggest atrocities that our justice system can inflict on anyone, some resulting in death and at the very least losing years of your freedom that can’t be regained. There is a high chance of trauma being inflicted upon someone who has resided in their institutions as well.

In certain states there is no protocol or established funding for these individual’s either. Some having been incarcerated more years than they have worked and they will be ineligible to receive social security because they have not worked enough quarters.

Our support is not only needed but it’s essential for not only the individual and their loved ones but for the future of our communities. Being wrongfully convicted shouldn’t be a possibility in our justice system.

Being that wrongful convictions are happening regularly in the state of Mississippi we are going to implement our programs within our communities to assist anyone who has or had hardships because of a wrongful conviction. The emotional turmoil that comes with incarceration can negatively affect someone for the rest of their lives.

We are supporting and assisting individuals with a wrongful conviction and their loved ones as well.

WHO WE ARE

Our Roots

We at Not-Forgotten, know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2020, we have been determined to make an impact in our prison system across our country. The core of our efforts is to fight for the wrongfully committed prisoners, to bring them back home to their families. Through all of our endeavors we hope to bring change to our prison system, and bring home the forgotten people trap in a corruptive system.
